ZORICA PURLIJA BIO

Born in Montenegro 1964,immigrated to Australia with family in 1973,settling in Newcastle, NSW. Began a Bachelor of Architecture Degree in Newcastle in 1983-1985.Withdrew to pursue career
in Graphic Design. 1989 Completed an Associate Diploma in Visual Arts at the Nepean College of Advanced Education with Major in Design and Photography, teachers Robyn Stacey and
Dennis Del Favarro.
1987-June 1991 worked in various Design Agencies, including freelance illustration and Photography.
July 1991 travelled through Europe, exploring life and absorbing Art, living and working in London
for 18 months. September 1992 returned to Australia settling in Sydney. July 1993 gave birth to first
child and devoted life to full time mothering.
2000 to present began pursuing career as an Artist using Photography as medium.
