This picture was taken in the month of june 2012, during the palkhi processions of Sant Tukaram Maharaj and Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj.Over two lakh pilgrims were expected to have embarked on the annual 21-day procession to Pandharpur on foot in the state of maharashtra, India.
